ok  ARETE has successfully completed ''The Biggest SAP Project in Logistics Industry'' for ICL Logistics Group.


Following Netlog Project, ''Turkey’s first and biggest SAP project in logistics covering all the logistics related functions'' consulted by ARETE, Intercombi, Netlog’s sister company also completed its investments in SAP ECC and SAP CRM projects with ARETE.

Headquartered in İstanbul, ICL Logistics Group owns eight different companies and twelve logistics brands. The company aims to extend its current business area covering Turkey, Europe and Middle East further and continue its services flawlessly. 

ICL group, targeting to provide perfect service and systematic solutions for its customers, started SAP investments in ''Netlog'' in 2007. The scope of the project, consulted by ARETE, covered Financial Accounting (FI), Assets Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Human Resources (HR-PA) modules and was completed in July, 2008. As a result of ARETE’s successful SAP project, Netlog gained important abilities to manage a wide penetration of service: distributing and following one thousand four hundred trucks to two hundred different logistics regions all over Turkey, also taking actions to increase productivity.

Observing the positive results of Netlog SAP project, ICL group decided to implement SAP also within Intercombi, one of groups’ companies. Planning and developing its investments via ''get the right product, at the right time, to the right locations with the right amount'' vision; Intercombi SAP Project has been completed in two phases: The first phase covered SAP ECC and was completed as of July 2009. In the second phase of the project, SAP CRM solution was implemented in the same month.

''The biggest SAP project in logistics industry'' was completed successfully thanks to the support given by both ARETE’s and Intercombi’s top management as well as the intensive participation of employees and their open attitude towards innovation.
